It features special 4-way elastic polyester soft shell body (known as Shark Skin) laminated with Dupont's Teflon and goes with internal superfine fleece lining that insulates and gives an ideal protection against wind and rain, providing moisture infiltration, evaporation and promotes ventilation at the same time. Presented Gunfighter windblocker jacket features high collar and cobra style hood with elasticated drawstring. The hood itself can be simply rolled into the collar and secured there with a zip closing. Moreover while in use the hood opening can be easily regulated through two drawstrings located in both chest pockets without a need of taking hands out of pockets. Furthermore the jacket goes with one inside pocket with Velcro, two upper arm pockets with zippers and Velcro plates, one small zip pocket on the lower left sleeve and a pocket on the lower back with two openings. Both chest and sleeve pockets have D-rings and thru 'headphone' holes inside. Moreover two chest pockets go with a number of useful small compartments. Fantastic all-weather inconspicuous military jacket.

I bought this jacket during the slightly adverse weather conditions of December 2013 / Jan 2013, and so it underwent the trials of snow, rain, occasional sun and high winds all in the period of about 2-3 weeks. It coped with all of them spectacularly! I was looking for an all-weather jacket primarily for Airsoft, but also for general everyday use. Since I usually just wear a tshirt as a base layer, my second layer is usually a jacket - if it's not sufficiently waterproof, windproof or thermal, it becomes a nuisance to put on a third layer which covers one of those failures. This soft shell is more than sufficient to cope with all of these things. It is extremely comfortable, highly breathable but warm, and waterproofing is second-to-none. My only bug-bear is that the zip was a bit stiff, bordering on convincing me it was slightly broken. But it has stood the test of time so far, and i am very impressed with it.Well worth the investment for all military, hiking, or other outdoor-going sorts - much better than the 5:11-type jackets.
