Waterproof jacket

Waterproof jacketThis jacket looked good and felt good plus it had the added bonus it was mean to be waterproof, however, I never got to test that part. The problem is was with the main zip; it kept jamming and sometimes I wouldn’t be able to zip it up. I thought it would get easier with use until one time it jammed completely and I couldn’t budge it at all, this rendered the jacket useless.I contacted Timberland ad they no longer supplied this model but offered me a discount on a Benton jacket (which was a lot more expensive); I was appeased, and bought it from them (from their online direct sales outlet) but it started to disintegrate within 6 months (pretty appalling for a £180 jacket) so I contacted Timberland again but they said they couldn’t help me if I did have the original receipt (which I hadn’t kept when they posted it to me), so I pointed out that I shouldn’t need it as they supplied it directly to me but, quote “but they said they couldn’t help me if I did have the original receipt”…Suddenly, I could see the method behind their bureaucracy…. in the end I gave up, saddened by the fact that yet another decent company has gone the same faceless way of so many others.

light rugged and waterproof. The detachable hood with its own inside pocket it's a very smart feature. I don't think that on my way to work I'll be able to find out if the jacket it's faulty or not but for that price it's pretty good jacket. Congrats Timberland :-)

This a nice stylish lightweight jacket,the hood is removable and looks good with or without.Although its off white its easy to wash and a very wearable item.
