nice jacket

This well constructed jacket is UK made and has a traditional look, and it makes a change from the average field anorak, I'm pleased with it. (The main photo is slightly misleading about the fit- in size M it is looser-fitting and longer.)The strong wool mixture tweed has a herringbone weave, and the colour is subtle greens. It is treated with a water-repellent and sheds rain (though haven't worn it in a downpour). It is comfortable and warm, with a light padded lining throughout.The sleeves are slightly tapered, with stretchy cuffs inside to keep the wind out. The jacket is smartly trimmed with a sort of dark green loden material (not suede as stated) and looks stylish. There is a detachable storm flap for joining up the collar in front when necessary.As well as the main pockets there are slit pockets on the front for the hands. Inside, a roomy map pocket or hat-pocket (or game pocket if you're a poacher), plus a secure zipped one. There are tabs for holding open the flaps of the main pockets if you're looking for cartridges. Plenty of useful detail, in the main well finished. Recommended -but unfortunately one of the press-studs on the collar came off, leaving a hole.

Very prompt delivery but jacket not quite as described in the advert. Suede lined collar and storm trim in fact cheap alternative material and pocket lining not fleece either. Overall disappointed by advert.

derby tweed coat

purchased this coat with a little trepidation as the pictures made it look a little "cheap n nasty"..compared to the more expensive on offer from country wear stores.How wrong i was..coat arrived within two days(thanks g5 apparel) and was instantly impressed..the pictures dont do justice to the colour and quality,outstanding..it fitted perfectly and looks as good as any far more expensive types around(where i live everyone wears this type of coat)and is well made and extremely warm.Would reccomend this coat to anyone thinking of purchasing a tweed coat without spending a fortune to get the quality that this coat has.10/10.
