I was very happy with the whole process through Amazon from the ordering through to delivery.When it arrived I was very happy with the jacket itself.Exactly what I wanted with a great hood. Its lovely and warm and looked exactly like it did from the photo's.If you want a very warm coat to get you through the winter....this is the jacket for you.

I got this Alpha Industries N3B Parka to replace a lost Schott Flying Jacket for general winter wear. The N3B is a much warmer jacket so there's no direct comparison between the Alpha Industries and Schott jackets I've owned. (Both are quality manufactures.) When it came to choosing a N3B jacket I opted for the A.I. version primarily on aesthetic grounds i.e. I liked the look of it.Great quality, super warm, and looks good. The perfect urban parka? Maybe!

This parka really is excellent and offers good insulation during the cold weather. The quality is high and will last for years . It is also easy to wear and does not feel too heavy or bulky. The hood when pulled up keeps your head warm and is very comfortable without having to zip it right up into the tunnel which really offers super protection from the elements. The look is very 70's which is exactly what I was looking for and the replica blue colour is great. I've read a few reviews online by people saying that this parka is not particularly warm. I couldn't disagree more and those people must really feel the cold. Besides, the secret to keeping warm is layering and keeping your head warm. Certainly for most UK weather, you won't need to wear much under it but if it turns really cold just wear a sweater or fleece under it and I am sure you will be very warm. Unless you are regularly in seriously sub zero temperatures, this parka is perfect. Don't waste your money on very expensive down products costing much more unless you really need to. And finally, it is the coolest looking parka available by a country mile.
